New, expressive EGS website

The new EGS website went live as planned in our anniversary year, just in time for the celebrations in Balve.
At the spring conference in Arnsberg (2024), Stefanie Perle had already presented her idea and goal for the website design: to create an attractive website with added value that would become the first and central source of information about the EGS.
‘Expressing what “marksmanship” means to me and what the EGS actually is and represents on the new EGS website was – apart from the pleasure I got from it – first and foremost a lot of work,’ says Stefanie Perle, describing the redesign process.
In designing the pages, Stefanie Perle provided answers to questions she had asked herself. ‘I tried to illustrate the connections between the EGS and the Knighthood and their social commitment (social work of the Knighthood) and also to highlight their differences and similarities. If you would like to find out more about the ideas and concept behind the design of the EGS website, you can read about it in the attached concept. Here you will also find the questions I asked myself.’

The result is now available in 7 languages and comprises a total of 218 pages + 19 news items, which have also been translated into all languages. In addition, 24 plugins ensure that the content is visually appealing, technically secure and compliant with data protection regulations.

Stefanie Perles Conclusion: ‘When you visit your website, you now get a good first impression and can quickly get an overall picture. This is a good and solid foundation that can be further expanded. I would therefore like to invite you to discover your EGS with an open mind and curiosity, and I hope you enjoy browsing.’
