European Shooters' Meeting - EST

Every three years, a joint European Shooters' Meeting is held, bringing together all associations from the EGS. In addition to the competition for the European majesties (King and Prince), the focus of this festival is on shared experiences. Young and old alike can learn about the historical differences between European shooting traditions and gain insights into the specific characteristics of each country.

Celebrating diversity together as a community

Each EST brings together 20,000 to 40,000 shooters from all over Europe. They exchange ideas, learn from each other and celebrate together. It is a very special way to learn about the historical differences in the development of European shooting and to gain an understanding of the specific characteristics of each country.

The European Kings and Princes Shooting Competition is held according to local tradition (details are regulated by the respective shooting rules). Each region determines which kings and princes are eligible to participate in the European competition. Registration is only possible through the national associations. Kings/princes from the last 3 years prior to the EST are eligible. The regional secretaries ensure that the registrations of the participating kings and princes are submitted to the organisers and the General Secretary in good time. No registration is possible on the day of the event itself. Only applicants who have paid their registration fee on time will be considered.
